Thanks to the sustenance of this network’s generosity in prayer, vision, and resources we have been growing our grassroots efforts across various expressions of our church life:
- Engaging Gabrielle Irle as Outreach Coordinator as they started as Young Adult Vocational Fellow and have been offering consistent support as part-time staff ever since,
- Fostering working groups who are passionately ensuring intentions of ELCA Statements/Memorials are enacted,
- Facilitating monthly Connections Calls with “green sheep” from across the globe and continue to share the expertise and inspiration offered in stories from the field (explore here) and
- Expanding our Congregational Organizing Guide to offer an online interactive networking space via the Actions Speak Loudly! program and similar guide for synod-wide use.
Looking ahead, we need you to know that this effort is made possible through the generosity of individuals who believe that our Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) should integrate Care for Creation ethics and actions into the full life of the church. We run as independent non-profit*, with an active Board of Directors and are sustained by a growing membership base.
