Lectionary Commentator
Chad McKenna is a Pastor at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Rockford, Illinois, where he has served for over a decade. He received his Masters of Divinity from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago and previously served at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Davenport, Iowa. He is also a graduate of Valparaiso University, where he studied theatre and music.
Growing up in rural Illinois taught him much about the beauty of creation. He and his family love to spend their time at the many nature preserves in northern Illinois, and he spends much of his free time transforming his urban yard with native plantings.
