ELCA Advocacy – Creation Care Work

Our ELCA Advocacy office in DC and public policy affiliates across the country are doing work to uphold what the church has determined as foundational to our Christian vocation as originally outlined in the 1993 Social Statement on  Creation Care.  Like many doing good work, they are too busy doing the work to have a great deal of time to share it.  While a Sustainability Group communications hub is being created by the wonderful ELCA Communications team in the next few months below is a listing of some of the most recent work and involvement of these dedicated change-makers.  Thanks to Ruth Ivory-Moore ELCA’s Program Director, Environment and Corporate Social Responsibility for steering this work and tirelessly seeking justice through the words and work of people of faith.
