Legacy Prairie and Woodland Grand Opening

Hello,
On behalf of the entire Vermont Church congregation, I’m writing to invite you to attend the Grand Opening of our Legacy Prairie & Woodland on Saturday, October 15th at 10:30 AM. We will also be providing a free lunch on our new patio (weather permitting). If you can attend, just call or email the church to reserve your lunch.
We recently purchased the 115-acre farm just east of our church and have begun the process of converting the farm fields into a prairie, contracted with the county to remediate a drainage ditch to minimize erosion, and met with stream/wetland experts from the county and DNR to explore preservation opportunities for about 20 acres of wetland that Vermont Creek meanders through along highway 78.
