Retreat with Central States LRC Mission Table “Wandering with God”

March 4 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm CST

You and members of your faith communities are invited to join the Central States Synod Lutherans Restoring Creation Mission Table for a retreat on Saturday, March 4, at Hollis Renewal Center. Check in begins at 10:15, and our scheduled events will take place from 11am-5pm. There is the option to stay the night for those traveling! 
 
We will have a workshop led by Director of Lutherans Restoring Creation, Phoebe Morad! She will lead us through how to get out of “analysis paralysis” when dealing with climate challenges. We will offer small group work on understanding our calling as people of God, to care for Creation, and explore the work of LRC and the Earth Charter. Then we will take on the outdoors! We will offer different ways to connect with God and Nature through prayer walks on Hollis’ trails, through their labyrinth, and more activities to help us unplug, reset, and reconnect with God!


This event is for old friends of LRC, new friends interested in LRC, all who are needing rest, and anyone interested in how our faith intersects with Creation care! Registration fee is $25. Scholarships are available through the CSS LRC Mission Table.
