The World Council of Churches invites all to an Ecumenical Decade of Climate Justice Action.
We have invited Rev. Dr. Barbara Rossing and Rev. Dr. Jim Martin-Schramm to discuss how we can participate, including: pushing the ELCA to Climate Action through a joint resolution, engaging synod assemblies and synod councils, urging expanded ELCA participation in the WCC Ecumenical Decade of Climate Justice Action. LRC synod resolutions make a real difference in the ELCA. This year’s model synod resolution comes from the Northwest Intermountain Synod Eco-Faith Leadership Team (thank you!).
