Throughout the Season of Creation (Sept 1 thru Oct 4) there are many ways to celebrate and honor the many blessings God offers us through the natural world.
One of them is a our furry (and feathered, scaly, etc.) friends at home! As part of our Fall FUN-raiser, we wanted to take time to bless our animals at home.
This event is free, there is of course NO charge to show up on Zoom with your furry friend to celebrate with us and receive a blessing. If you don’t have a pet, you’re still welcome to attend and enjoy seeing other peoples’ critters.
Are you the proud pet parent who always has pet pictures to share at a gathering? Have your local wildlife as a phone background? Then this is for you: In conjunction with our event, we are also offering the opportunity to show your animal friends off to the whole network. Please consider donating in honor or memory of a beloved pet or animal you admire and have them recognized here.
In addition to gathering for FUN, we will also be raising funds at this event to support LRC’s vital presence in the ELCA and beyond. As a nonprofit functioning outside of the ELCA churchwide organization, we rely on gifts from our community to sustain our work. This fall, we have a fundraising goal of $15,000, and every gift will help get us there! Please donate as you are able to help us continue our mission of cultivating a community of dedicated stewards of earth and neighbor who proclaim God’s promise of hope and healing for all.
DONATE AND SEND A PET PIC HERE!
Can’t attend or want to show off your pet in advance of the event? Send a photo to info@lutheransrestoringcreation.org and it will be added to our virtual “jumbo-tron.”Thank you for the many ways you support Lutherans Restoring Creation, we’re grateful you are part of this community!
