Church + Climate Resilience
June 24th 4pm AK/ 5pm PT/ 6pm MT/ 7pm CT/ 8pm ET
We’re in a moment where the climate is changing and there is increased risk of disaster. But with our neighbors and with our communities, we’re connected! This connection gives rise to hope and imagination toward a vision of peace.
What if we could withstand, respond to, and strongly recover from the challenges ahead, together?
What if we could do more than bounce back, but bounce forward to cultivate communities where we eradicate the inequalities at the heart of the climate crisis, for one another and for future generations? This is the vision of resilience we’re talking about! Churches are uniquely positioned to help lead the effort.
Come learn with Vicar Anna about how Design for Peace, a resource of the SW Washington Synod, is gathering churches around climate resilience.
