We will be joined by Robb Ryerse, the US Program Director for "The Week," who will give us insight in implementing this group-based experience into our congregations. Coming up THIS Tuesday! Make sure to register at: bit.ly/LRCTheWeek

What is "The Week?"

You get together 3 times, during a week (hence “The Week”). Every time you watch a 1 hour documentary film episode. And then the heart of the experience: a guided conversation for 30 minutes (or more if you want) to make sense of it all. It’s an experience you do with friends, family or a group of colleagues. Because it’s helpful to engage with a topic as big as the climate crisis with a small group of people you know, and not be on your own. See more at: www.theweek.ooo

Big news! In preparation for Youth and Young Adult Gathering 2024, Lutherans Restoring Creation is hosting an art contest to inspire creativity and hope around what our future can be. See rules and guidance at: bit.ly/2024GatheringArtContest

Often our imagining of the future is informed by concerned parties showing us the dystopian consequences of an unchecked climate crisis. While being informed is important, how often are we able to imagine a future that fills us with hope? This art project asks for young Lutherans across our nation to imagine a better future, inspired by the “solarpunk” movement. Results will be displayed at 2024 Youth and Young Adult Gathering!
