On February 21, 2019 the Board of Lutherans Restoring Creation (LRC) voted unanimously to become a membership organization. “This is a way for LRC to strengthen its grassroots effectiveness,” said LRC Board President, Russ Senti. “I’m excited by this decision,” said Executive Director, Phoebe Morad, “because it will encourage more individuals and church action groups to be stakeholders in LRC’s variety of resources and events centered around deliberately living out our faith through holistic discipleship.”
LRC will henceforth invite individuals, congregations, and synods to become official members, at different financial levels, on a yearly basis. Individuals will be able to be Sowing Members (up to $100), Cultivating Members ($100 to $1000), Harvesting Members ($1000-$5000), or Sustaining Members ($5000 to $25,000). Congregations or synods who have, or are interested in developing, a “green team” are invited to become members at institutional offering levels.
If you have questions or suggestions about LRC membership please contact LRC Executive Director, Phoebe Morad (info at lutheransrestoringcreation dot org). Stay tuned for more information as to member benefits and other opportunities to be involved. Updates and local connections can be found on the website: www.LutheransRestoringCreation.org.
